Angel Zahariev
Founder & Manager
Angel Zahariev completed his MA Architecture degree in 2003 at UACG (University of Architecture, Civil engineering and Geodesy) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In 2004 he did a post-diploma specialization at the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies – IHS, at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Since 2004 he has been an associate professor and guest lecturer at the Architectural Faculty of UACG Sofia.
In 2005, Angel Zahariev together with Assen Milev founded the architectural bureau A&A Architects.
Prior to establishing A&A Architects, arch.Angel Zahariev was in charge of the design and development of Business Park Sofia.
As a manager and leader of the design team, arch. Angel Zahariev has worked on a number of significant and well-recognized projects, that have had significant influence to the contemporary Bulgarian architecture and have been rewarded multiple professional awards.
He is also an author of a large number of publications in the field of urban planning and architecture.
Angel has been a lecturer, tutor, jury and participant in numerous workshops, symposiums, conferences and competitions in Bulgaria and Europe.
Arch. Angel Zahariev is one of the founders of Grupa Grad NGO, a community of young and popular Bulgarian architects who advocate and strive for positive changes in the public architecture and urban planning in Bulgaria.
