Mariya completed her degree in architecture in 2019 at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia in the Department of Public Buildings. During her studies, under the Erasmus program, she spent a year at Politecnico di Milano and did an internship at a Spanish architectural firm.

Arch. Yanakieva has experience in the design of public and residential buildings and interior design.
Maria joined the A&A team in 2020.
