Sofia Tech Park is the first science and technology park in Bulgaria, created to be a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between academia, businesses, the government and society.
A&A Architects, in a consortium with Place.make, Urban Viva, DontDIY and Architectonika Studio developed the Master Plan and Design Guidelines for the second stage of the development of Sofia Tech Park.
The project includes six development zones with high-tech office buildings, research laboratories, experimental production facilities, multi-storey car parks, sports and recreation areas.

The design concept is based on the activation of "creative networks" in workplaces and public places, as well as recreation spaces in the complex.
The parameters and boundaries of construction are precisely defined in order to integrate future projects in a harmonious urban environment with optimal density and intensity.
In addition to the Master Plan, the team also developed guidelines for the design of future sites for each of the development areas.
The main purpose of the guidelines is to create a regulation for building a high-quality urban environment in the areas for future development of the science and technology park by defining criteria for building a shared space and individual buildings in the Park.
