With an area of 67 decares, bordered by the campus of the American University, the South part of the city centre and the industrial zone of the town, the site is situated in one of the best locations in Blagoevgrad.
Located nearby are the park, several zones for sports activities and a large number of retail facilities. The location is easily accessible both from the highway and from the urbanized areas by public transport.
EXPO Blagoevgrad
In the municipal concept for the development of the city, the area is intended for an International Expo center which includes:
• An exhibition centre and event space
• A business and SPA hotel
• Offices class A
• Residential area
• Recreation area
• Church complex
• Museum of Macedonian Revolutionary Movement
The masterplan follows the contemporary sustainable trends in urban planning, demonstrating respect to the human scale and incorporating large open green areas, a pedestrian-friendly environment, an abundance of natural light and diverse visual appearances.
The project aims to create a lively contemporary environment and bring an exciting space for urban living to its users.
All of the parts of the project combined will enhance the character of the location and potentially turn it into one of the most preferred places in Blagoevgrad for living, working and resting.
